An IT professional with over 30 years of experience in varying roles. Having started out in college completing a BTEC diploma and HND in computer studies and computer science respectively, I accepted an apprenticeship role with Bull Information Systems, from which I became a permanent employee. Through several company transitions, I have been able to gain varied experience and knowledge from working on numerous projects for internal and external clients such as the MoD,  NHS and Housing. I am looking to progress my career within the IT industry and to further enhance the knowledge that I already have.

Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I needed to take a break from my career and progression. During this time, I focused on personal projects such as programming, and game/app design. I did not intend to completely lose the knowledge I had gained in my working life. My focus has always been to return to work in a professional capacity when the time was right. I feel I am now ready to return and am looking forward to the new challenges this will bring. I am currently completing a data analysis bootcamp and wish to continue my self-development with additional courses.
