Media Browser is a media viewer and lightweight file browser for iPhone and iPad. It brings local folders, Apple Photos, and network storage into a consistent interface.
Browse, watch, and organise
- Connect to SMB shares, WebDAV servers, and SFTP servers alongside local files and Apple Photos.
- View photos, play video and audio, and read PDFs.
- Use favourites, slideshows, adjustable thumbnail grids, and detailed list views.
- Resume playback and stream larger remote videos without waiting for a full download.
- Copy, move, or delete selected files on writable sources.
In development
The app is in active development for iOS and iPadOS 18 or later. File transfers currently stay within the same source, and Apple Photos access is read-only. Playback support depends on the formats supported by the device.
